Dr. Bruce Paster
Dr. Bruce Paster is the Chair of the Department of Microbiology at the Forsyth Institute. Under his lead, a team of researchers at the Forsyth Institute used a system of rapid identification and enumeration of bacteria to identify the bacteria found in the bib clip study. in our clinical studies at Forsyth. The method, termed the Human Oral Microbe Identification Microarray, or HOMIM (see http://mim.forsyth.org) can simultaneously test for 300 key oral species on a single microscope slide.
